Batteries can be found in almost every home in Canada.  Most of these end up in landfills where the batteries eventually deteriorate.  Lead, cadmium, zinc, lithium, and more can potentially leak into the ground causing water and soil pollution.  The best option is to bring your used batteries to any of the three Columbia Bottle Depots in Kelowna to help protect the environment.  Your used batteries can be be used in paint manufacturing, turned into metal plating or new electronics, and more!

We take a variety of batteries that can be recycled including rechargeable batteries, single-use batteries, car batteries, and cellphone batteriesFor a more detailed list of batteries we accept please click here.
