We would like to send a big shout out to Raymond Imbeau and Barbara Kitz for their amazing generosity! The couple have been going in to the back country for three years in a row now cleaning up garbage and picking up any cans that they find to return for money. In total this year, they have collect 32,000 cans and donated the refund cheque to COSAR (Central Okanagan Search and Rescue). They have donated a total of $5,700 to COSAR over the last three years because of their back country cleaning efforts. That is amazing especially considering that COSAR relies fully on fundraising to stay operational.
