Hello Friends of Columbia Bottle Depot!
Good news from the recycling front: Starting on June 1, 2018, Recycle BC is introducing a pilot project to collect a new type of material: Other Flexible Plastic Packing.
Columbia Bottle Depots are lucky enough to be a part of a handful of depots around the province that will be a part of this project.
Some of the material Columbia Bottle Depots will now accept include standup and zipper lock pouches, crinkly wrappers and bags, flexible packing with plastic seal, woven and net plastic bags, and non-protective food packaging.
